An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client is currently seeking an Events and Communications Lead based in Blackfriars in London. This is a full-time role for a period of 6 months, working full time, Monday-Friday. This role is paying between £32K and £39500 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

The 100VE Site Events and Communications Lead role will partner the Site Leadership Team to deliver the plan on for each of the following workstreams:

  • Learning
  • Connecting and collaboration
  • Brand Love
  • Sustainable workplace

The 100VE Events and Communications Lead will be pivotal to the success of the 100VE project: comms will be the thread that holds everything together. The 100VE Events and Communications Lead will therefore be required to work collaboratively with all areas of the business on site.

The position requires a candidate who has experience organising events and working in communications. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who shows initiative and can successfully interact with senior stakeholders. The job holder must be capable of managing their time effectively while working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Events - plan and coordinate site events, be present on the day for the various events we have planned.
  • Develop an events and communications plan which brings together all site events and comms into a cohesive picture
  • Hands-on, day to day project management to ensure everything ties together across the plan, and to organise and successfully deliver internal events.
  • Content Creation (including digital) - update intranet page(s), drafting, creating materials or reviewing and modifying comms that the pillar leads would produce, including

Skills, Competencies and Experience

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to plan and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Flawless written and oral communication skills in written and spoken English and strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a communications coordination role
  • The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across different levels in and out of the organisation.
  • He/she must be comfortable collaborating with, influencing and challenging people at all levels, so the candidate should have a high degree of maturity, self-confidence, with strong interpersonal skills.
