Are you an experienced wireperson looking for an exciting opportunity in a growing company? Are you a self-motivated problem solver who can work either alone or as part of a team? If so, please read on.
Our client has provided mission-critical systems to detect, measure and analyse radiation to protect people, property and the environment for 14 years. The current position reports to the Production Manager in the client's Farnborough location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soldering on conventional and surface-mount PCBs
- Able to read circuit and wiring drawings
- Wiring and crimping
- Cable and loom assembly from detailed drawings
- Light mechanical assembly skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous mechanical assembly experience is required
- Knowledge of control rack and panel assemblies
- Punctual and excellent timekeeping
- Self-starter/finisher
- Recognises accountability for own tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Problem-solver
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
You must be able to provide proof of your eligibility to work in the UK.
This is a three-month assignment, the rate is competitive, and you accrue up to 28 days' holiday/year, based on a 37-hour week.
