  • Salary range up to £32,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 36.15 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of the marketing communications plan activity with focus on branding, service and product communications and activation on digital tools such as apps, websites and online social/commercial platforms.

  • Establish and execute integrated communications plan for Powder Coatings BU related to brands, products and services, in line with the BU segment plans, and central coatings marketing team's requirements. Responsible for the delivery of a range of different formats tailored for offline and online delivery.
  • Plan, write and edit content for a variety of communications mediums on a frequent basis ensuring messages are consistent across traditional and digital mediums and fit for different segments and sub segments
  • Co-ordinate integrated communications campaigns for new product launches (PR related aspects) including digital media.
  • Input in Digital strategy by initiating proposals for new developments on the basis of market insights (from segment plans and communication plans)
  • Work with the communication team to develop and maintain a digital content plan for the agreed campaigns, and supports execution of this in conjunction with the Digital Marketing team creates, adapts and optimises web communication
  • Maintain social media profiles, guidelines and quality content on Twitter, Facebook, and Linked In and applicable other SoMe channels
  • Ensure brand consistency, drive profitable campaigns, brand growth and loyalty in close consultation with segment management, product management and other (regional) stakeholders.
  • Build a strong network, keep internal client's abreast of progress made, respond to feedback and adjust communications accordingly.
  • Create and enhance external agencies and partner relationships.
  • Maintain consistent use of proper house style and guards brand image and appearance, look & feel, tone of voice, logos, etc
  • Be familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all regulations.

Job requirements

  • Education: University degree in business, marketing, communications
  • Experience: Approx. 5+ year's experience with strong business / marketing / agency experience
  • Writing skills: Exceptional writing and presentation skills, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories
  • Digital skills: Understanding of new communications techniques, digital engagement platforms and the ability to translate these into opportunities
  • Interpersonal skills: good interpersonal and relationship-building skills are needed to understand business needs at the same time sensitivity to an organisation's goals and values and the ability to further relay them is required.
  • Ambitious and strives to continuously achieve high performance levels to ensure things happen
  • Has the ability to convey knowledge to others in a suitable format to suit the audience / situation / language
  • Provide leadership to others through setting a good example and sharing knowledge and skills
