Manpower are currently recruiting for a Production Line Feeder for a prestigious client based in, Rocester Staffordshire
As a Production Line Feeder you will be expected to assist with the unloading of 12/15 pallets and directly feeding the production line with parts and scanning parts that need to replenished. Meeting the requirements of the Company's Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems, which is mandatory and ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Key tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure first in/first out (FIFO) stock rotation is observed.
- Working with other team members, ensure that 'KITS' are made available to the client to meet demand
- Maintain replenished locations in a tidy orderly manner.
- Resolve discrepancies noted when locating goods.
- Liaise with customer on site to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify replenishment requirements and scan empty locations.
- Delivering parts or receives delivery from the depot and replenishes bins to rack locations, checking that parts are put away correctly.
- Advise Account Controller of any potential stock-outs.
- Ensure sufficient stock is available on customer site at all times.
- Assist Account Controller by checking stock, collecting samples etc.
- Continually check for damaged labels and request replacements as necessary.
Suitable Candidates will have
- Previous experience with using a Mechanical Hand Pallet Truck
- Well-presented, facing customer, representative on-site
- Ability to retain information, "switched-on"
- Strong IT skills, Google, Excel an advantage
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Determined and committed, willing to go the extra mile

This is a physically demanding role, repetitive lifting required, must be physically-fit and used to lifting heavy items repeatedly (12.5kg normally, but could be up to 30kg),
This is an ongoing temporary role with an immediate start, working 6am - 3pm Monday - Thursday and 6am - 10.30am Friday paying £9.00 per hour
