Job Details

Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for a Programme Coordinator at their site in Barnwood, Gloucester. The Programme Coordinator shall be responsible for assisting the principal programme managers and project leads within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) with the management of key programme activities, predominantly focusing on programme controls, communications and information. Programme activities are managed across our clients Generation and Hinkley Point C business units.

THIS ROLE IS FOR A 9-12 MONTH PERIOD

Main responsibilities:

*Provide support to key Programme Control activities, including risks registers, issues registers, schedules, finances, resource planning and reporting.
*Perform the role of document controller to co-ordinate distribution of information across the Programme stakeholders.
*Use of SharePoint, Controlled Document Management (CDMS) and other management information systems as required.
*Assist with the development of high quality communications material.
*Facilitate the set-up of key meetings and workshops as required, taking meeting minutes and maintaining actions registers as required.
*Working alongside the Head of the NSA and principal programme managers in both Generation and Hinkley Point C, assist with long term business planning and stakeholder engagement.

Skills required:

*Previous experience of working in a Programme / Project Management environment.
*Ability to work as a self-motivated and proactive individual.
*Well versed in preparation of reports, presentations and other information packages using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Good communication (written and verbal) and ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
