Cleaning supervisor - immediate start - Part time

Manpower is excited to be working with our client to source a working supervisor. This is an exciting and varied role based within Exeter and the South West. It is being offered on a 20-hour contact. There is potential for overtime as a cleaner if more hours are required. Our client is a leading cleaning provider who provides services throughout Exeter and the southwest. They aim to offer each client a bespoke cleaning package which meets their individual needs.

About the role

Within your new role as cleaning supervisor you will have a variety of duties meaning no day will be the same. You will be the main contact for all cleaning staff and be available to sort out any issues that arise. On a daily basis you will be supervising staff on their performance in terms of cleanliness and behaviour. Other duties might include inspecting completed work and completing paperwork for any new starters. You will be required to arrange transport for staff which might require you to transport staff yourself if other transport cannot be arranged. Undertaking cleaning work as part of the team will be required. The working days will be between Monday and Saturday, no Sunday shifts will be required. There will be a variety of working hours including early mornings and evenings.

About the candidate

To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication skills as you will be required to communicate with members of staff from a variety of backgrounds. Having experience in a cleaning and supervising role is desired. An awareness of organising staff and delegating jobs will be highly advantageous. You must have good eye for detail and be accurate in your work. Having a UK driving licence and full time access to a car is essential to this role.
