Mission

The APU (Autonomous Production Unit) Process & Methods Technical Trainer is responsible for coordination and the technical training for the 4 types of techs (Test, Process, Debug and Maintenance). The role will coordinate and develop the technical support team, to deliver a robust and proactive pool of highly trained technicians to support the APU (Autonomous Production Unit).

Responsibilities

*Coordinate annual training needs assessment process in conjunction with Supervisors
*Coordinate the attendance of Technicians on Valeo Group Training in specified timeframe
*Coordination and implementation of the Technician Training Modular Structure and identification of the new essential training modules
*Identification of the trainers & experts for each training module
*Supporting design of individual training modules, quizzes, accessories and systematic scheduling training sessions
*Create and update training plan for new hired and existing techs
*Follow up the progress and review the learning curve of each individual. Coordinate 4 types of Technician (Test, Process, Debug and Maintenance)
*Delivering individual / group training sessions and facilitate the vendor training
*Review training requests from Technician/ Engineer groups as the effect of unexpected DT or technical issues. Create short/long time reaction training plan to cover training gaps.
*Create and administration of Technician Wikipedia Page: Create new Best Know Method lesson posts, Training Videos etc.
*Create New Work Instruction, Procedures or QC documents for Technician group
*Review CV's and facilitate Technician interviews
*Review, verification and assessment of Senior Technician role application
*Propose, justify and submit annual training budget
*Interaction with supplier, negotiation of the quotation and create justification for external vendor training
*Support and represent where required the TS, V5000 and Customer audits from the training and maintenance perspective
*Involvement in project to improve line efficiency's and product quality, in conjunction with the Technician Team Leader
*Support Health & Safety training: Manual Handling, Lock Out Tag Out, Sprinkler System etc.
*Liaise closely with HR Training and Development Dept, attending regular meetings


Requirements
*Degree/Diploma in Electronics / Computer Engineering or Equivalent
*Experience in document writing is required, i.e. procedures, specifications, reports, etc.
*Must have excellent debug and problem solving skills.
*2 Years Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Environment (ideally Automotive Electronics) would be beneficial.
*Experience in training methods and presentation skills would be beneficial.
*Experience in maintenance and equipment repair would be beneficial.
*Experience in IT / IS technologies and systems would be beneficial.
*Experience with Vision based products/applications would be beneficial.
