Manpower is partnering with a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer in their search for a UK Maintenance & Reliability Manager. Based at their COMAH facility in Runcorn, you will have overall responsibility for the company's Maintenance & Reliability strategy in the UK.

As UK Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will cover a total of 3 sites. Your main challenges will include;
*Strategically outlining and implementing the business' Maintenance & Reliability strategy at multiple sites across the UK
*Scoping out large-scale projects centred around aging plants and equipment to improve production
*Creating a 'project funnel' of work to be priorities and rolled out in both the short and long term
*Overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget
*Ensuring compliance with COMAH regulations and other relevant legislation
*Putting together effective maintenance plans and setting best-practice standards across the business
*Identifying improvement projects, whilst embedding a culture of CI within the business
*Be the subject matter expert within the business for maintenance and reliability issues
*Remote manage a number of dotted-line reports

This highly effective role will suit someone that is either currently working at a UK level, or that is looking to advance their career. As such, your skillset could include the following skills and experience;
*Degree educated within Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or other relevant discipline)
*Extensive experience in a Reliability/Maintenance role within the Chemicals/Petrochemicals industry
*Experience of working on a COMAH facility
*Proven track record of strategically implementing reliability/maintenance programmes
*Able to engage with and remotely manage cross functional teams
*Strong understanding of chemical plant equipment
*Project experience
*Thorough appreciation of HSE
