General description:

This role will sit within the Compliance Team, reporting to the Compliance Team Leader with responsibility for Supplier and Contractor due diligence coordination.

Core duties and responsibilities:

Implementation and on-going coordination of the Supply Chain Process
Identification of Supply Chain impact and analysis
Coordination of Supplier Due Diligence Questionnaires and responses
Site audit arrangements and on site visits to suppliers and other offices from time to time.
Assisting subject matter expert panels on the identification of suppliers in line with balanced scorecard, compliance with system management including fixed and variable requirements.
Ongoing monitoring of compliance with legislation and regulation e.g. Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Liaising with Commodity Managers with regard to contract and SLAs negotiation.
Other duties and responsibilities:
Such duties as directed by the Director of Compliance and Group Legal and Compliance Director as may be required from time to time

Training requirements:

Completion of appropriate training requirements and other training approved by Director of Compliance.

Organised and excellent time management skills
Good communicator at all management levels

Attention to detail

Knowledge and skills: essential

Procurement and supply chain coordination and management;
Audit and continual improvement experience
Report and data analysis
Intermediate MS Office - specifically excel word, power-point, Visio skills
Good understanding of legislation, regulation etc.

Knowledge and skills: desirable

Experience with ISO and OHSAS standards; specifically 27001 InfoSec, 14001 Environment and OHSAS18001 Occ H&S.
Management of Supplier Contracts and SLA administration
Advanced MS Excel skills

Qualifications: desirable

Good level of general and technical education
Professional (Procurement/Supply Chain/ Financial)

Experience: essential

A minimum of 3 years in a procurement role or similar
