We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of Desktop/ Citrix Administrators for our Client based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving incidents within contractual Service Levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth technical support of a Windows desktop solutions, including troubleshooting and problem/ defect root cause analysis seeing through to the full resolution
- Manage the virtual desktop infrastructure hosted within Citrix XenDesktop
- Carry out Windows desktop patching and software packaging and deployment
- Create and maintain Windows desktop automated builds (SCCM)
- Maintain AD Group Policies applicable to the desktop estate
- Ability to work in a disciplined and structured manner in accordance with ITIL based service management process
- Use proactive monitoring methods and tools to identify problem prevention and continual improvement opportunities
- Update the administration of any changes to asset information
- Handle customer problems promptly and escalate issues according to established procedures
- Develop and maintain customer and third party relationships
- Participate in a 24x7 callout rota (ability to work some evenings and weekends if necessary)

Essential Skills:
- Support of Citrix XenDesktop environment 5.6 or above
Experience in the following
oAnalytical troubleshooting in a Windows Desktop Environment
oActive Directory Management
oWorking towards ITIL standards
oMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar/ related role
oComplex problem management, preferably in a multi-vendor environment
Formal IT qualification - HNC or equivalent

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the following:
oSupporting App-V packages/ infrastructure
oSoftware packaging and deployment
oMS SCCM 2012
oUE-V Administration
oWorking on a customer site
Vocational/ Diploma/ Associate Degree (in a technical field)

Personal Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills
