Great opportunity for a night shift maintenance engineer to join our client based in High Wycombe, are you happy to work on a permanent night shift? Do you have experience working in food manufacturing or manufacturing in general? Are you happy to hold a senior position on a night shift? If so this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!!

You will also benefit from a company pension scheme, 4 weeks holiday and free car parking.

Your main duties will include to make scheduled checks (PPMs) on machinery and parts. To find and fix faults and recalibrate instruments. You will also be required to oil and clean machinery and parts. Overhaul and replace parts according to schedules. To fit new parts as required. To comply with all factory standards and procedures. To respond immediately to machinery breakdowns. To pay close attention to HASAW regulations and requirements at all times whilst performing their work.

To ensure that the factory is working at optimum efficiency by conducting daily visual checks of all equipment and communication with operatives. Record details on the "Daily Check Sheet" and action as required.

To communicate the full shift history by completing all related paperwork. Enable team to hit set KPI targets.

Ensure that the efficiency of the plant/machinery is maximised through continuous improvement.

Flexibility required to work all shift patterns to cover holidays, sickness or production needs.

Must be available to do overtime from time to time.
Able to work on his own or as part of a team.

Personal Specification
Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias with a good standard of education. Proven leadership and hands-on management capability in high pressure production and maintenance operation.
You must be confident and focused, data driven decision maker with analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience of using CMMS to maximise productivity and plant performance. First class communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to relate to, work with and influence people at all levels internally and externally. Self-motivated, self-starter, will work on own initiative and propose solutions not identify problems, can do, will do attitude.
Strong team player, adaptable and flexible. People management, able to motivate and coach others.
