Start Date: ASAP (immediate) - for the right candidate we can accommodate a 1 month notice period if required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the strategic clients division for a HR Administrator to join our busy contract team based on our client's site at EDF Energy in Exeter. This position would suit an individual with good administration and IT skills, who is also keen to develop within a Human Resources/Recruitment role. You would be reporting into the Senior On-Site Consultant who is keen to recruit an individual who has a desire to work within a Recruitment and Human Resources Setting. Whilst some Recruitment and/or HR experience is considered advantageous, a person with the right attitude and desire to learn without this experience may also be considered suitable and may see this as a good supported development opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

*Administration, to include payroll administration, new starter set up, processing of holiday requests, sickness certifications, leavers process etc.
*Provide a point of professional communication between the client and the Manpower staff on-site.
*Telephone screening and referencing of candidates
*HR support with the management of all temporary staff including inductions, absence and performance management, holiday scheduling, etc.
*Develop understanding of the appropriate use of disciplinary and grievance procedure.
*Informal meetings with client and temporary staff regarding any issues, concerns or queries.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

*Demonstrable administrative skills.
*Confident communicator via written format (mainly emails).
*Confident in the use of Word/Excel and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly.
*Confident in verbal communication and to a variety of the client's stakeholders.
*Desire to work in a fast paced role with every changing priorities and deadlines.

Non-Essential Skills and Experience:

*Experience of recruiting and supporting a high volume of temporary workers.
