An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Technician to join the team within an established Finance related firm in here in Dublin.

The Book - keeper / Accounts Technician / Accounts Assistant will managed all accounting functions and report directly to our external Accountant on a regular basis.

The role offers an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Technician an opportunity to manage this position and to own this it for themselves. The start /finish time can be flexible and also hours can full time or a minimum of 30 hours pw if this suits your lifestyle. Working in a fast paced, friendly but busy office you will manage all accounting tasks in conjunction with our external Accountant

Job role:
*Maintain the company's monthly internal accounts and prepare reports to trial balance
*Work and report directly with the company accountant, who is off-site
*Complete daily cash book and also reconcile with it lodgements
*Bank, petty cash reconciliations and make refunds as needed
*Pay Creditors, update and enter Invoices Payments in system
*Monitor monthly cash flows and manage debtors and creditors and analysis company expenses.
Monitor DD Mandates.
*Oversee bank balances in various company accounts
*P30s, P35s, VAT Returns
*Prepare month end reports for Directors and our Accountants
*Enter cash receipts in Euro, Sterling and US dollar accounts
*Prepare bank lodgements
*Run General Ledger month-end, Statements and month end procedures are reconciled
*Oversee and adjust payroll issues however payroll completed externally
*Monitor and follow up on utility charges & update staff holiday schedule, as needed.
*Liaise and assist with the audits and help complete audit process when needed
*Monitor, update and make payments on Commissions and generate mandatory reports
*Adhoc duties as required -
*Qualified Accounts Technician/ Book-Keeper/ Accounts Assistant or enough experience, 4
years plus in a similar role.
*Good IT skills, Excel, Microsoft Office,
*Very good communications skills both written & verbal

Salary: €33K - €36K. (Flexible start/finish time, flexible on weekly hours if needed)
