Vacancy Overview:

The successful candidate will be a key analyst supporting the success of the Revenue Management department. As part of the Reporting and Commissions team in Exeter, the successful applicant will be expected to work closely with colleagues and managers in Finance and Customer Services. They will be responsible for extracting data, producing reports and maintaining and developing databases (including accompanying documentation). Their activities will support debt collection activities as well as associated risk mitigation, provisioning and customer account maintenance. They will be expected to work in a timely and accurate manner, offering the highest possible levels of service necessary to achieve the required performance, quality, financial results and customer experience.

The applicant will be expected to build a strong knowledge of end to end business processes to take the Management team's requirements and build professional, accurate, informative reports, offering analysis and providing recommendation where there are areas which require focus. Reporting will be to all levels within the Revenue Management department, including Senior Management.


*Produce reports to support departmental managers in delivery of key targets and staff performance
*Work with managers to develop reporting and ensure consistent and timely delivery
*Ensure full reporting for live and term debt. Undertake root cause analysis and identify options for resolution of issues
*Develop a strong understanding of Revenue Management processes in order to use this knowledge to identify gaps within the business
*Promote the performance successes and challenges of the team and department across the B2B area
*Build and manage good working relationships with key business experts and stakeholders across departments
*Design, develop and document new Access databases where appropriate

Skills & Qualifications:

*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
*Confident, and assertive where appropriate
*Experience of building Access databases (for management of data) and associated queries (for reporting output)
*Problem solving and decision making skills
*Advanced Excel
*Understanding of SQL and VBA
*Access 2010
*An understanding of the UK Energy Market (desirable)
*Experience with Proclarity (desirable)
