Manpower are currently recruiting for a Project / IT Account Delivery Manager to join their Client - an on-site delivery specialist for multi-vendor products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of IT projects.

The Deal Delivery Manager will report into the Client Portfolio Lead for Cambridge University Hospitals and work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

The Deal Delivery Manager will be based at Cambridge University Hospital (CUH). The main responsibilities of this role are to engage with all stakeholders to evaluate, plan and manage various Non Standard Service Requests and Project activity, transformation activities and periodical refresh activities that are planned throughout the contract life cycle.

* Tasks will include;

o Manage project plans to monitor and track progress
o Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
o Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
o Approval of changes through CAB into live environments using Service Manager 9
o Manage Project changes through the NSSR process in association with the Service Response Mgt (SRM) team
o Perform risk management to minimize project risks
o Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
o Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure resource availability and allocation
o Report and escalate to management as needed
o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
o Effectively communicate to Account Project Portfolio Lead and stakeholders through project lifecycle

Previous Project Management / Deal Delivery experience is preferred however candidates with less experience who are able to demonstrate the ability to manage teams in order to drive tasks to conclusion and meet deadlines will be considered
Experience in managing project activities, resources, teams, coordinating deliverables, and managing schedules.
*Is able to manage key and large projects.
*Relevant industry-recognised Service Delivery and/or Project Management qualifications.
*Proactive attitude to service improvement.
*Strong communications skills.
*Excellent customer facing skills
*Good presentation skills.
*Excellent organisational skills, able to take a methodical approach to service issues.
*Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
*Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations.

*Basic financial knowledge.
*Knowledge management project tools.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant project management qualifications and certifications; i.e. APM Practitioner Qualification (PQ) / PRINCE2 Practitioner / PMP (Project Management Professional)
ITIL certifications
Lean Six Sigma certification
Previous NHS experience working in a technical support role
Full UK driving Licence
