Due to the results of continued growth, we are currently assisting with the recruitment for a Credit Controller to join a well-established distribution company based in Luton.

The Credit Controller will work with their growing list of customers on an ongoing basis to ensure that queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The right candidate will have the ability to develop good business relationships with their regular and new customers. The successful candidate will carry out a full range of general administration duties as an active member of the Department.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in reducing and controlling debt and will liaise with external customers and the Company's own Drivers to manage and control the Company's debt levels.

Key Skills and Experience:

Previous experience as a Credit Controller.
Competent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to evaluate queries and advise clients in a timely and professional manner.
A high level of personal drive and self-motivation and a willingness to learn new tasks and be flexible
Customer-focused with a service-orientated approach and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proven analytical, EXCEL and computer skills are essential.
Very strong organisational skills with a keen eye on accuracy and quality.
Applicants must have the ability to work well under pressure, have a good telephone manner & be able to meet deadlines in a busy office.

Working Hours:

The successful applicant will be required to work 5 days across 6 days
8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday, 9.30am to 6.30pm.
