My Client is a global leader in security and mobile device technologies. Their products are recognised for offering the highest level of retail security for consumer electronics and mobile enterprise applications, mobile devices and display technologies.

They are already established here in Ireland but are in the process of dramatically increasing their market share by expanding their market presence throughout Ireland. They have created a new position for a Business Development Manager who will drive this expansion forward.

Position: Business Development Manager. Overall Package (including basic salary & bonuses) €75K to €90K pa.

Role & Requirements:
*Plan and direct key aspects of business development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
*Demonstrates expertise in a variety of market's concepts, practices and procedures.
*He/She will have an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mind and winning attitude with a proven ability to identify and drive forward new business opportunities and sell comprehensive solutions
*Conduct financial feasibility studies and develop proposals for new business opportunities
*develop new market initiatives, assessing new markets needs and act on this
*Negotiate contracts, initiating proposals, and close sales.
*Lead and direct your support teams to maximise solution based opportunities in the Irish marketplace
*You will be naturally creative in your thinking and able to "think out of the box" and have a natural Entrepreneurial spirit.
*Understand how to analyse business environment & prioritise sales activities accordingly
*Analyse business opportunities, customer needs, call cycles and financial budget
*Work directly with the Director of Business Development with some travel within EMEIA

*BA/BS in Finance, Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience, skills and education.
*5 years plus experience in a Senior Business Development Manager's position
*Experience and ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
*Experience working with customers to create a retail shopping experience with key retailers, or manufacturers in the marketplace would be a plus
*Experience working for a Branded Manufacturer, Retail, Legacy Retail Service would be a plus
*Excellent computer skills, CRM, Excel, Sales forecasts, Agendas, Trip Reports, and other reporting tools and systems.
*Able to travel as needed.
