KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide generalist HR advice and guidance to employees and Line Managers to help them to deliver their business objectives. Provide clear and consistent advice in line with business strategies, company values, policies and procedures, HR best practice and external legislative requirements. Drive the delivery of excellent customer service, and look for ways to continuously improve the service that HR Services provides.

Resolve customer queries effectively and within defined SLAs
Provide a prompt and professional response to ensure that advice given is clear, unambiguous and jargon free
Demonstrate a broad knowledge of HR policies, products and services, alongside a broad understanding of employment law and/or relevant standards and codes that underpin HR policies and processes
Take personal ownership for resolving customer queries even if these sit outside of our remit by working beyond organisational and functional boundaries
Proactively contribute to the HR Services team agenda by highlighting and owning the delivery of continuous improvement to enhance customer experience
Take responsibility for personal development by constantly reflecting on what I can do to help myself and others
Demonstrate ways of working in line with the HR Services vision and values
Take an active role in inducting and training new starters to deliver a confident and credible HR service.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience of working in a customer service environment
Relevant experience and knowledge of HR issues.
Experience of handling a high volume of queries.
Experience of acting as first point of contact for managers and employees
HR experience - including exposure to benefits, policies and procedures.
