We are currently recruiting for a VIP Client Service Engineer to work in a high profile role for our client based in London.

Our Client is at the forefront of the global IT market for business and life, delivering technology solutions that span IT infrastructure, personal computing and access devices, global services as well as imaging and printing devices.

As a Client Service Engineer, you will be based on the customer site providing desktop IT support to VIP's within our Client's Public Sector account therefore strong customer facing skills are essential.

You will take full ownership and manage incidents directly with the customer either face to face, via phone or email or via an incident management queue. You will work with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support teams and 3rd parties, therefore you will need to be a highly effective communicator.

You will be working to tight deadlines so the ability to work under pressure is essential.


The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

*Must have good all round knowledge of Windows OS and Office systems, inc Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, Microsoft Office 2002 through to Microsoft Office 2013. In particular the use and administration of Microsoft Outlook through the use of Exchange Administration account.
*Working in a virtualised environment using Appsense tools and ZenApp applications.
*Use of Active Directory console to manage user accounts, group permissions.
*Be able to patch in Network ports and work with patch panels and switches.
*Use of incident management systems to monitor incident queue.
*Good knowledge of Elitepads, iPads/iPhones, Android smartphones, Blackberrys and other mobile devices.
*Knowledge of Airwatch MDM systems desirable but not essential
*Rebuilding hardware, such as Laptops, Desktop and thin client machines using SMS, HPCDS.
*Be familiar using encryption software such as Pointsec and PGP.
*Additional knowledge of Accessibilty software such as Dragon, ZoomText would be desirable.

Due to the business needs of this role SC security clearance is an essential requirement.

This role will work on Shift Patterns between 7:00am - 15:00pm through to late shift 10:00am to 18:00pm. Flexibility with working hours and shifts is required at times
