We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Supply Chain Planner for our Client based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be employed in their Networking business to manage the regional procurement & supply plan for a portion of their hardware portfolio. This will involve analyzing forecast requirements, working with external suppliers to position inventory to meet quarterly revenue goals whilst maintaining excellent product availability & meeting the internal financial targets for inventory management. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage data, self-motivation, communicate effectively & be a dynamic team player are critical requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for material positioning and stock availability for a portfolio of products, through a robust supply process.
- Manage supply constraints and analyse information to develop trends, and present findings to management.
- Communicate requirements and manage relationships with suppliers, and influence the regional and global business unit planning teams.
- Contribute and collaborate with demand planning, inventory management & backlog management.
- Review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.
- Conduct analysis and contribute input to continuous improvement projects
- May provide training or general direction for junior staff members
- Typically interacts with Managers.

Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and functions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Developed Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation
- Developing Process Improvement & Project Management Skills
- Demonstrated business acumen and an interest in the IT sector.
- Moderate level of knowledge of inventory analysis and/or demand planning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ATP.

Education/ Experience:
- Educated to Degree level
- Experience in a Supply Chain function.
- Advanced Excel skills - ability to manipulate data essential.
- Experience of demand planning & supplier management an advantage.
- Experience in SAP an advantage.
