We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Out of Hours Service Desk Agent for our Client based in Peterlee.

The post holder will be a member of a team of out of hours IT Service Desk Agents providing a customer sensitive, responsive support, fault resolution and advice service, which ensures the maximum availability, performance and utilisation of information systems for customers on behalf of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver a first line support service via the IT Service Desk, receiving incidents and service requests from various routes including telephone and e-mail.
- Offer advice to end users and customers on all areas of IT, troubleshooting and ensuring desk standards are met.
- An overall focus will be to implement and improve processes and procedures within the team allowing strong service focused deliverables.

Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer service role with a good understanding of the IT industry
- Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of customers at all levels
- Any IT qualifications

This role involves working in a 3 week shift rotation and due to unsociable hours this role does attract a generous shift allowance.

Due to the business needs of this position, SC level security clearance is an essential requirement. Successful applicants who do not currently hold SC clearance must be able obtain this to the required level. Applicants must also hold photographic ID in the form of a current passport or driving licence, which is in date and reflects their current home address.
