An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently recruiting for an experienced Global Assistant Brand Manager for the Surf brand. The role will be based at Unilever's Global HQ in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time, temporary role to start September/October 2016 and will run for 9-12 months. The salary for this position is paying between £30,400 to £38,000 depending on experience.

The Role
We are looking for a senior ABM that is familiar with running complex global projects with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have past experience in digital and strong interest to expand expertise in this area, a passion for growing brands & developing winning communication and feel comfortable working with multiple agencies across various markets.
The role consists for its major part in leading the digital workstream, from strategy to implementation across multiple markets as well as support a Brand Manager in the day to day management of innovation and communication projects.

Experience in Sustainability and USLP initiatives will also be valuable, though not a pre-requisite for the role.

The job holder will have ample autonomy in driving clearly defined initiatives deploying and strengthening his / her leadership skills, frequent exposure to global, country, and functional stakeholders and the opportunity of building the brand equity.

The Brand
Surf is the second biggest Laundry brand, and has been extremely successful in the last few years, extending its footprint to more than 47 countries across the globe, and growing in all the regions.

Surf is also pioneering the Digital agenda in laundry, with a variety of successful initiatives that bring delight in the everyday (gaming, music etc.). This is an area of increasing focus for the brand.

Surf's opportunity in the area of Sustainable Living is significant. We are pioneering ground-breaking initiatives in the category with the ambition to reduce the burden of laundry for women around the world. Our launch campaign next year will bring together our existing and upcoming initiatives under a strong brand message and will mark the first significant step in a journey that will seek to put an ambitious purpose at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead the development of the Surf digital platform: from strategy to implementation, including coordination of various agencies, management of key stakeholders and close working relationship with internal teams & regions to ensure flawless, on-time delivery.
*Support the day to day management of innovation projects and communication campaigns to ensure smooth and OTIF completion - including keeping track of project timings, financials, coordination of cross-functional teams etc.
*Brand Strategy support: help organise brand events and stewardship events and help keep brand assets relevant and up to date (i.e. asset bank, brand book, BSP etc.)
*Work closely with the advertising and design agencies.
