An exciting opportunity now exists for a Key Account Manager to work for an expanding Wigan based company. The position is to support the company's key accounts in the busy energy sector where you will be working with blue chip household names.

You will support the Senior Account Manager in providing a high quality and professional service to the organisations accounts, ensuring contract performance and accountability's are met.

.Key Accountabilities

Work with the Senior Account Manager in continuous improvement and change management in the areas of smart, operational excellence, communication and excellence in client experience.
Become a contract matter expert in the client specific processes and mutually agreed business methodologies.
Independently and within a team work objectively in analysing contract performance across a range of departments including and not exclusively Deployment capacity, Job results, Field performance, Asset management, Data pass-back.
Collaborate with business operations teams and technical staff to determine system specifications and requirements, working through from high level business requirements specifications and layered information flow diagrams.
Have a good understanding and of all operational areas.
Monitor the performance of accounts through regular reporting.
Work with the Deployment team and business managers to forecast future work.
Identify areas of process improvement, service enhancement, related strategic projects and opportunities to increase the scope of the service and communicating these to the Senior Account Manager.
Increase value by the delivery of cost effective and responsive account management services to customers.
Build collaborative relationships with the deployment team, logistics, contact centre, field work resources and the wider business to gain a complete understanding of the business and its needs.
Keep abreast of market intelligence and industry trends including regulation changes.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes;

Confident when speaking to clients and internal managers
Strong account management and relationship building skills
Experience of negotiating contracts and managing tenders
Ability to evaluate customers needs
Energy / Utilities knowledge desirable or experience of working with multiple, corporate accounts.

Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office and email
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Good organisation and administration skills
Personal Qualities
Flexibility in order to adapt to the changing needs of the business
Occasional overnight travel will be a requirement of the role so full flexibility is required.
