Fantastic opportunity for Customer Account Manager, with experience of developing customer relationships within the automotive sector,

Applicants must have:

*Experience in developing customer relationships
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Good people skills friendly with a professional appearance and demeanour
*Ability to meet customer needs
*Tenacity to win business
*Able to lead and present meetings with important customers
*Project management skills from inception to mass production
*Engineering knowledge especially reading and understanding Technical Drawings
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*To be able to interpret Sales data and make recommendations to the management team
*Ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy/attention to detail with regards to data analysis and/or submission of data to management
*Flexibility with regards to working hours in terms of responding to customer demands
*Must be fully conversant with Microsoft office (especially Excel at intermediate plus level and PowerPoint)
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Flexibility to travel internationally on company business
*Ability to create open and effective relationships with customers through regular face to face; telephone & e-mail communications

Desirable:

*Experience within the automotive manufacturing industry directly or within the supply chain
*Mathematics at 'A' level standard
*Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
*Language skills: European language skills are desirable but not essential

What they offer:

Starting salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
In terms of benefits, our client offers 20 days holiday in the first year of employment, rising to 22 days in Year 2, increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days of which, they hold back 4 days to cover the Christmas shutdown period from 24th December to the first working day in January. As a general rule, personal holidays are to be taken during shutdown times, which will vary from year to year.
They offer a contributory pension scheme and private medical cover currently after one year's service.
Hours of work are 8.30 - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 - 3.00 pm on Friday - Employees are required at all times to support fellow team members. This may occasionally involve carrying out tasks beyond one's regular remit and occasionally outside one's regular hours
