An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Communications Executive (Procurement) based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Kingston-upon-Thames. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 3 months starting mid October 2016, working a 36.25 hour week, paying between £33,000 and £35,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

The Supply Chain teams play a vital role in getting our goods to customers and consumers; from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing and delivering the end product. The teams are also closely involved in delivering the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan.

As part of the Global Supply Chain Comms team, reporting to the Comms Manager, this role will contribute to:
* Developing and delivering an integrated internal and external communications plan aligned with the Sustainable Business & Communications (SB & C) strategic approach and the Supply Chain (SC) vision and strategy
* Measurement of activity against the global SB & C KPIs and additional SC KPIs
* Building a globally aligned team with a sense of common purpose and a commitment to continuous improvement
* Ownership and management of the Procurement communications calendar and delivery of specific elements of the SC communications plan as outlined below

* Deliver leadership events or webcasts including coordinating suppliers, content, and hub coordinators
* Deliver video and presentation tool-kits to support leadership team events and partner events working with the Communications Manager
* Support the communication manager to package stories and announcements for delivery across our various channels
* Manage admin for the team budget
* Manage, maintain and update the Procurement communication planner and distribution lists - also contribute to the central SC communications planner
* Work with external agencies such as design agency to support the intranet upgrade programme
* Work closely with the wider SC Communications team to ensure activities are aligned with the SC Comms Plan and the wider SB & C priorities

* This role requires an experienced communications executive who can work independently to tight deadlines and also successfully collaborate with the wider team and an international network.
* Proven experience as a Communications Executive at Unilever or in a fast paced communications environment.
* Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as high level PowerPoint skills.
* Good understanding of digital communication and video.
* Event/project management experience.
* High level IT literacy and general knowledge of information/document management tools and systems
