An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for an Internal Communications Executive based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Kingston-upon-Thames. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 3 months, starting mid October 2016, working a 36.25 hour week, paying between £33,000 and £35,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

The Supply Chain teams play a vital role in getting our goods to customers and consumers; from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing and delivering the end product. The teams are also closely involved in delivering the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan.

As part of the Global Supply Chain Comms team, reporting to the Comms Manager, this role will contribute to:
* Developing and delivering an integrated internal and external communications plan aligned with the Sustainable Business & Communications (SB & C) strategic approach and the Supply Chain (SC) vision and strategy
* Measurement of activity against the global SB & C KPIs and additional SC KPIs
* Building a globally aligned team with a sense of common purpose and a commitment to continuous improvement
* Ownership and management of the SC Communications calendar with specific responsibilities as outlined below

* Global point of contact and coordinator for all internal SC Comms content including management of key templates and guideline documents and production of stories for newsletter and other channels
* Deliver pre-recorded leadership videos, live webcasts and supporting communications, including internal coordination, agency collaboration, feedback collection and budget management
* Drive employee engagement and SC strategy alignment in factories in close collaboration with market and category communications teams
* Own and manage the internal SC Comms calendar
* Manage production of materials to support global Awards programmes for SC
* Manage distribution lists and work with agency to ensure intranet pages are updated
* Measure activity and create feedback and statistic reports
* Work closely with the wider SC Communications team to ensure activities are aligned with the SC Comms Plan and the wider SB & C priorities

* The role requires proven expertise as a Communications Executive at Unilever or in a global communications department of an international FMCG company. As the team business partners a Unilever Leadership Executive (Board) member and his leadership team, high levels of discretion and confidentiality are essential.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as significant experience in the design and organisation of videos and execution of video based events.
* Experience in steering and working with agencies.
* Good understanding of digital opportunities within internal communications.
* The jobholder must be confident, well organised, highly accurate, and able to prioritise complex tasks in a volatile and fast developing business context.
* Good networking skills to allow efficient work flows in a complex matrix organisation are crucial as is the ability to work with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.
* High level IT literacy and general knowledge of information/document management tools
