Our client are a small family run property business situated in Southampton who are looking for a highly organised and driven individual to work in their busy office alongside the property manager.

Main duties will include:
*General office duties such as:- Emails, Excel/Microsoft office. Gmail is essential
*Making calls to utility providers, various organisations related to the property industry, past & present tenants and also potentials.
*Answering the phones, dealing with day to day enquiries, photocopying, composing letters, filing etc.

Full training will be given,
Once you have completed the training you will also be required to undertake further duties such as:-
*Taking, protecting and releasing rental deposits
*Renewing tenancies
*Checking rental payments and chasing unpaid rent, serving legal notices as required.
*Liaising between tenants, landlords and agencies to ensure smooth moving in and out of properties
*Advertising properties and prospecting tenants/agencies via telephone and email
*Paying utility bills and checking meter records
*Booking appointments and showing prospective tenants around properties
*Part of this job will be to collate information relating to the annual accounts - accounts or book-keeping experience is preferred
*Stationary ordering

The ideal candidate must:
*Have excellent customer services skills
*Great telephone manner
*Be able to use their initiative
*High level of administration experience
*Be able to work own their own and as part of a team
*Be very reliable

The hours are Monday to Friday from AM to PM and be able to work on Saturdays if required.

Their is free parking on site.

This is an ongoing temporary position with a view to go permanent if you are the right person for the role!
