Manpower is currently recruiting for an Off Line Team Leader to join a global manufacturing company. Our client is leader in their industry and is looking someone to join their well-established team based in Northampton to ensure the smooth running of the shift, support, lead and mentor a team of 10.

Daily responsibilities of the Production Team Leader will include:
*Oversee the smooth running of all raw materials and off line areas and comply with all relevant quality and safety standards.
*Produce monthly KPI figures to show the usage, costs, percentages, and overall performance for the plant
*Arrange a full stock count of all material daily and pass on to the totals to customer service
*Carryout Employee appraisals at the relevant time
*Maintain matrixes, job descriptions for all areas, training packs and competency tests
*Carry out refresher training as needed
*Organise your team and maximise efficiency, brief teams of any changes or issues that they need to be aware of
*Complete weekly Health & Safety check sheet and report any things that need attention
*Attend Health & Safety meetings
*Provide strong and clear leadership, always set the standards to which people working for you will follow as people will always look at you and your standards

To be considered for this role:
*You will need to have previous experience as a Team Leader in a similar environment
*You will need good IT and organisation skills and effective communication skills
*Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration are essential
*Working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
*Experience of using MS Office or in house systems
*Good level of understanding of English Language
*Proven experience of working within Operations/Factory/Production site
*Ability to lead and coach colleagues skilled and unskilled
*Able to work in an accurate and methodical manner
