Manpower are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant on behalf of our client, one of the UK's leading FTSE 100 defence engineering organisations providing in-service support solutions for submarines and surface ships. The Administration Assistant position is full-time, 40 hours per week and is a 12 Month Contract position.

Working within the Engineering Services team at the client's KEYNSHAM, North Somerset site the successful candidate will work as part of the Central Admin Team who provide administrative and secretarial support to a range of projects, managers and directors across the Keynsham site.

Essential Skills and Experience

> Note: Due to the Military / Defence nature of the business applicants must be British Nationals and be able to prove continuous residency in the UK for the past 5 years. Ideally they will already be Ministry of Defence security cleared or be eligible to obtain security clearance at the required level. They may also be required to complete a medical assessment.

> Previous secretarial / PA experience gained in an engineering, defence, technological or similar environment.

> Excellent general administration experience: proficient in working with Microsoft Office. Training will be provided on in-house systems and applications.

> A high level of accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with classified and sensitive documentation.

> Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the confidence and ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation.

> Strong organisational and time-management skills.

* GCSEs at Grade 3 or above and an NVQ in Business Administration, or similar.
