Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated business support within the Central Technical Organisation of one of its Nuclear Generation sites. The successful candidate will be reporting to senior managers, providing support to Programme Managers and team members across the function in addition to the Head of the company.


Responsibilities:

*Schedule departmental and external meetings, including planning and preparing the meeting arrangements, material preparation and associated communication.
*Maintaining a prioritised list for the lead team.
*Identify key needs and provide admin support to the Spent Fuel Lead Team, and other teams if required.
*Diary management for senior members of the team.
*Answer routine questions and provide information on behalf of the department.
*Preparing programme/business level presentations, correspondence and reports on behalf of the team.
*Attending meetings and minute taking.
*Primary contact for travel bookings, arrangements and expense claims within the function.
*Maintain and develop the wiki page for the function and facilitate any communications both within and outside the team.
*Maintain and develop various roles such as improvement activities, training plans, weekly attendance registers and organisational learning activities.
*Document control oversight and support.


Skills/Experience:

Essential
*Strong PowerPoint and MS skills with ability to tailor material depending on audience and style of information.
*Self-starter, comfortable operating independently with a strong drive for task completion.
*Pro-active attitude to work management and planning.
*Strong communication and influencing skills adaptable for all levels of management and staff.
*Numerate with attention to detail.
*Ability to work on a broad number of tasks concurrently.

Desirable
*Experience within a highly regulated industry.
*Awareness of nuclear industry.
