MULTI-SKILLED CARPENTER
MINLEY, CAMBERLEY
£25,000

We wish to appoint a Multi Skilled Carpenter reporting to the Construction Supervisor.

The key accountabilities of the job holder are as follows:
*Lead own trade skill groups and demonstrate good working knowledge of other trades/ skill sets within a B&C team, standing in for team Supervisor if required
*Survey, plan and cost minor works/ projects
*Carry out planned preventative and response maintenance programme and ensure compliance with management systems, relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations
*Ensure all works are carried out to set standards in line with policies, procedures, and expectations
*Adhere to all instructions given relating to quality and methodology of work
*Complete work specified on works dockets issued within the agreed timescale
*Deal with emergencies and breakdowns (participation in an 'on call' rota for emergencies and attendance outside normal hours to deal with certain maintenance procedures is required)
*Maintain the CoSHH register as well as issue, store and order CoSHH as required
*Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
*Ensure all actions and work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with all site, company and statutory instructions
*Gain experience from day-to-day multi-discipline activities to broaden skill knowledge base
*Support and assist other team members at every opportunity and assist other trade disciplines when reasonably called upon
*Comply with Company vehicle policies and procedures
*Attend personal training sessions as reasonably requested by the client
*Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualifications and Experience
*Awareness of Health & Safety issues within a construction environment (essential)
*Recognised relevant apprenticeship and/ or City & Guilds/ NVQ / equivalent qualification (essential)
*Previous carpentry experience (essential)
*Awareness of construction materials and equipment (desirable)

*Able to accurately complete documentation and keep detailed and accurate records
