I am currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client for a skilled accounts assistant and purchase ledger clerk working on a part time basis.

My client are looking for a candidate who will be meticulous, and possess strong process based skills. The role demands a need to quickly and effectively respond to multiple requests, whilst maintaining the work standards and controls in place. You will be responsible, have a good team ethic, be numeric, able to plan and prioritise your workload, and be well organised with a strong attention to detail.

Previous experience working in a purchase ledger function would be desirable but not essential.

The main responsibilities for this position include; Manage the Purchase Ledger including entering invoices, balancing statements and entering payments. Use of Sage 50 to maintain accurate transnational and supplier data. Your position will also include raising invoices and following the clients terms of business for payment terms.

This position will be working between 20 and 25 hours per week over 5 mornings, and for your service my client is offering a hugely competitive salary and generous holiday allowance.
