A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a strong Sales & Marketing Officer to join this market leading client based in Harrogate. We are currently looking for a new business, marketing experienced, sales person with both B2B and B2C sales experience. Ensuring the flawless execution of go to market plans and strategic marketing activities. Prioritisation of tasks and resource are essential to succeeding in this role. Analysing current activities, implementing efficiency's and a proactive approach is required.

The role:
Primarily office based you will be responsible for sourcing new business through generation of sales leads using research data bases and own initiative.
A sales-based role, with responsibilities spanning all aspects of sales, marketing and administration.
You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable talking to professionals, quantity surveyors and builders.
You will manage and monitor all new sales activity from initial contact to receipt of sales order.
Working closely with the wider team you will be proactive, have a collaborative approach and be a good team player to ensure an efficient and professional service.

*Identify new business opportunities.
*Produce and evaluate monthly reports on leads.
*Reviewing installer spend and identifying who to contact (including revocation of approved status) and contacting all trained installers, who are not yet approved, for inspection.
*General Account Management
*Identify key competitors, carry out regular competitor analysis, and identify databases to use for the business.
*Review monthly/yearly sales figures, attend monthly sales and management meetings, and analyse data for leads through advertising.
*Train and manage, and identify opportunities and leads for, the Area Sales Representatives.

*Deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales, raise awareness and develop engagement amongst our customers.
*Create compelling content for our target audiences.
*Undertake content marketing to drive engagement and manage communications across PR and social channels.
*Organise and attend conferences, forums and shows where required.
*Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and plans.
*Ensure the impact of all activities is effectively measured and delivering ROI.
*Undertake customer and market research.
*Manage marketing budget/forecast, and all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
