Joining an established and thriving car dealership, this is an exciting career opportunity for the right person to become a valued member of the aftersales department, providing excellent aftersales service to a range of fleet customers.

In a fast paced and varied role, the successful candidate will be the customer point of contact on all vehicle service enquiries and bookings, providing an excellent aftersales customer service.

What the job involves:

* Welcome all customers at Service reception in a friendly and professional manner, qualifying their needs and agree service instructions to book vehicles into the workshop.
* Organise service department bookings in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure utilisation of the workshop in line with dealer guidelines
* Respond to customer telephone enquiries relating to service and repair and book their vehicles in for the required work
* Promote and up sell the service facilities of the dealership to encourage repeat aftersales and sales activities.
* Carry out customer follow ups to develop and maintain positive relationships. Actively contribute to the revenue and profit of the service department.
* Processes information into Kerridge System efficiently and speedily so that job cards and other relevant documents can be produced, and initiate ordering of appropriate parts.
* Monitor work progress to ensure their vehicle will be ready at the time agreed and maintains customer contact to confirm when their vehicle is ready for collection.
* Promote the sale of service plans and additional products to customers.
* Handle customer problems and complaints using the necessary skills and where possible resolving the issue to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the business.

What we are looking for:

* Experience working in an aftersales motor dealership is required, preferably as a Service Advisor
* Customer service experience with strong communication skills and the ability to up sell and promote services
* Strong problem solving ability to identify and resolve dissatisfied customers issues in a professional and empathetic manner
* Be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, managing own time and workflow effectively.
* Excellent administrative and organisation/scheduling skills
* Ability to prioritise conflicting demands and organise customer appointments
