Great job opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our leading client.

You will be responsible for covering the South East Region (Kent, Sussex and Surrey) to achieve profitable sales of the company's products and maintain and build good customer relationships to ensure the company's market position is optimised.

As an Area Sales Manager, your role will involve:
*Develop the customer base through excellent service and sales ability and by providing unique solutions for their customer's requirements.
*Establish strong relationships with their customer base to ensure the company's market position is optimised.
*Report and forecast sales performance for the area and act upon market information.
*Responsible for defined geographical area and customer allocation as determined by the Area General Manager.

The successful applicant will have previous field sales experience ideally within the building/construction industry. Able to gain a good understanding and knowledge of products. You will have excellent customer service skills and be an excellent communicator. You will have a persuasive nature, have good negotiation skills and be driven to achieve goals. Being able to use your own initiative is essential. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Driving licence is required.

You will benefit from an attractive salary package of £32,821 plus bonus, company car, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and contributory pension scheme.
