Manpower Plymouth is delighted to be working with the NHS Trust based in Plymouth in their search for an excellent IT Programme Manager. This is a rare opportunity to join an established team and be responsible for the programme management and governance of a major ICT programme within Plymouth Hospital Trust, specifically the GS1 and PEPPOL programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for Programme Managers out there looking for a role that can really make a contribution.

Some of your duties will include;

* Managing and delivering this complex programme and projects with conflicting and competing pressures on the workload including dealing with the mixed expectations of customers.

* Identify, analyse and document the programme and project requirements with the clients and undertake an impact analysis to feed into service changes required after project delivery.

* Develop and implement and recommend procedures and guidelines supporting the policies and strategies, around new services and changes to existing services

*To ensure all stages of the project(s) are met in the agreed timescales, scope, budget, and to customer satisfaction in regard to the benefits realised.
About the ideal candidate

* Manage the programme budget and report operating costs, escalating any variances appropriately.

Manpower Plymouth would like to speak with Programme Managers who can maintain excellent working relationships with each department of the ICT service, trust directorates, Finance team, procurement team, the health community, partnership organisations, Trust SRO's, and commercial suppliers. You will have proven project management experience within a similar field. Proven experience in managing Budgets ideally in a NHS organisation is desirable too.

- MS Project 2010
- Current legislation
- Process mapping
- Educated to Degree level or Knowledge and related experience
- Relevant experience in health service or other major large-scale customer-service oriented organisation.
