Our client, a very well established multinational company, is looking to recruit an exceptional, self motivated and creative Marketing Communications Manager who will be experienced in managing and maintaining online channels with a passion for digital.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and deliver highly engaging internal communications campaigns to the support the business needs. You must be competent with digital technology and social media as well as being able to confidently demonstrate a proven ability to prioritise and deliver challenging objectives.

What are my responsibilities?

*To plan, manage and maintain our online channels - utilise social media channels.

*Deliver internal comms activities in line with business strategy and needs - consistent with brand values.

*To assist in the translation of business strategy into innovative and high impact communications plans.

*A trusted partner and advisor to the business stakeholders.

*Develop appropriate strategic and tactical internal and external communications plans.

*Work alongside the Senior Marketing Communications Manager to develop communications plans - budget planning, resource requirements, activity schedules, tracking, measures and owners.

*Develop a full understanding of the market conditions, customer needs and expectations, key organisations, trade bodies and appropriate communications channels and media to be able to recommend, enable & deliver communications activities.

*Work with the heads of specialist disciplines to ensure agencies and other suppliers deliver effectively as per their brief.

*Responsible for implementing new global and UK communications processes for the division to ensure 'best in class', optimisation, cost-effectiveness, delivery excellence and management.

*Collaborate with global and other GB&I communication colleagues to identify and agree best-practice solutions, driving synergies and ensuring the consistent presentation of strategic messages. Champion functional communication team-working across GB&I in the pursuit of business excellence and adherence to compliance guidelines.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

*Experience working within Marketing and Communications

*Strong knowledge of working within a digital environment - learning/working with new technical tools

*Strong internal communications skills

*A self-starter who can work proactively

*Ability to develop working partnerships with key stakeholders

*Project management skills

*A creative and lateral thinker

*Strategic communications and campaign planning skills

*Experience of working in a complex/matrix international organisation (desirable)
