Consumer Market Insight Pricing Analyst
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Consumer Market Insight Pricing Analyst to be based at Unilever's prestigious Leatherhead office. This is a full time temporary position, working 36.25 hours per week, for 6 months to start ASAP. The role is paying up to £38,859 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
About the role
In this role you will contribute to delivering the organisations mission by business partnering Marketing and Customer Development. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the Consumer Market Insight Pricing managers on delivering the Net Revenue Management agenda. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, able to articulate the value of analytics to our business partners and have a passion for Pricing.
Be responsible for the correct operation of the pricing tools, working with our agencies and third parties to ensure we have the most up to date studies and data. Pricing tools include amongst others Strategic Price Tracker, Net Revenue Management Diagnostics tool, Pricing Simulator and Pricing Diagnostic Tool.
Support and help the team in socialising the pricing methodologies and tools to the wider Global community
Be the first point of contact for the Category and Marketing teams to get the inputs needed for the Strategic Price Tracker
Help and support the CMI Pricing and Analytics Managers in running the NRM process
Engage with the wider CMI team, Marketing & Customer Development teams to understand their needs in order to further improve our tools and analyses
Skills and Experience
Must have recent work experience in an analytics position, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry
Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written), advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
The successful applicant must have strong analytical and numerical ability and the ability to build relationships within an international & multicultural network and key stakeholders across different levels in the organisation.
You must be comfortable working in a virtual environment.
The candidate should have a high degree of maturity and self-confidence
Strong team commitment will be critical to deliver against the objectives of the role in a global business environment, together with the capability of holding people accountable.
Passion for delivery, the ability to see the bigger picture and pro-activeness in planning ahead is crucial
Business and financial acumen
Familiarity with continuous data sources, such as Nielsen, Kantar, Millward Brown preferred
Knowledge of Price Elasticities and Market Mix Modelling a plus
