Our client is a Funeral Directors, looking for an administrator to join their family run business. The company has over 100 years experience, and have 4 sites based in Central Scotland. They are passionate about the traditional values from over 100 years ago, and strive to live these values.

The Job:
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9-5. Every second Saturday morning would be required
Work as part of a small team
You will be dealing with bereaved families on the phone and in person on a day to day basis.
There will be a small amount of sales involved, with headstones etc. (Training will be provided)
As this is the head office, all administration, invoicing and purchasing will be actioned at Falkirk
Please note there will be deceased person(s) on site at all times

The Candidate:
You much be literate with Microsoft programs - Word, Publisher, Excel & Outlook
Have an excellent telephone manner
You will realise the severe importance of confidentiality and accuracy
You must be comfortable taking bereaved families to see their loved ones. This will include going into a room with the deceased.
You will be sensitive, patient and understanding with families, and understand their loss.
Driving Licence is preferred, as there may be times where you would be required to work at other sites to cover holidays or sickness

This is a very varied role, and no 2 days are the same. The client is looking for someone to join them who want the smaller family business career, and will be there long term, enjoying such a diverse working day.
Holidays are 6 weeks per year - this includes standard and statutory, to be taken as the candidate sees fit. Note that bank and public holidays are applicable to work, unless you book a scheduled holiday in for this time. As standard, a 6 month probationary period will apply.
