Ford is one of the world’s biggest automotive manufacturers and most recognised brands. This is your chance to join us on our IT Graduate Programme, and become part of a global professional IT community.

You’ll advance through a series of on-the-job placements, each with real responsibilities and expectations, as you help us to build, implement and enhance our IT solutions. This will involve executing innovative solutions to our hardware/software environments and business processes.

You’ll get involved in a range of different functions throughout your time on the Graduate Programme, including:

  • Business Relationship Management – Planning future IT strategy and projects
  • Application Development – Developing, enhancing and maintaining our IT applications
  • Solutions Support – Providing front-line support for our critical IT applications and services
  • Infrastructure Operations – Planning, building and operating a global IT infrastructure base
  • Security – Protecting critical IT systems from security breaches and cyber threats.

You’ll be part of a global IT team, working with colleagues from all over the world. So you may have the chance to travel to one of our overseas locations from time-to-time.

What’s in it for you?

As a Ford Graduate, you’ll receive a very competitive salary which can increase as you progress through our organisation. You’ll also receive 26 days annual leave a year (plus bank holidays), an annual holiday bonus payment, discounted rates on Ford cars (for you, and members of your family too), a pension plan, and onsite gyms at most Ford locations.

We’ll also invest in your ongoing development, giving you all the support you need to build a long and rewarding career, through a variety of learning programmes.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who display a few key qualities. Ideally, you’ll have at least a 2:2 undergraduate degree, preferably in IT or an IT/business discipline (we would consider graduates from other courses, though). You’ll also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, together with a strong customer focus, and a proactive approach.

Do you want to go further with Ford? Then we’d love to hear from you. Apply here today.
