As a Smart Meter Operative, you’ll safely install, maintain and remove meters at our customer’s homes. You’ll complete this within a set timescale and in line with relevant policies and procedures. Full training will be provided before you start in your role, so this is a great opportunity to kick start a new technical career.
You’ll plan your work in advance; working with relevant departments to make sure your day is fully optimised. When you arrive at a customer’s property, you’ll deliver an excellent customer experience at all times. You’ll make sure your customer knows exactly when you’re due to arrive, and will give them advice on energy efficiency and safety too. And, of course, safety will always be your number one priority.
You’ll be the kind of person that can deliver an excellent customer experience, work under pressure, and take ownership of problems and resolutions. You’ll be comfortable working both on your own, and as part of a team. Manual duties will be required, and an occupational requirement of the role means you need to have full colour vision.
In return, your starting salary will be £18833 rising to £ 20869 upon completion of your training. You’ll also be rewarded with an annual bonus that’s equivalent to 3% of your salary, in recognition of hitting your targets, and an additional monthly paid performance bonus scheme also, fantastic training opportunities will be provided too.
