This is a full time temporary role for 9 months with a start date in January 2017. This role is paying a salary of £30,400 pro rata, depending on experience plus company car and bonus.(Full UK drivers licence essential for the role and you must live on patch or directly on border.)

Job purpose

To deliver the sell-out volume of our trade partners, by using a combination of face-to-face selling, customer relationship management and ingredient demonstrations to reach new customers, penetrate more products and increase usage within existing customers.

Alongside this the ability to engage prioritised customers at a senior enough level to implement business plans, concepts and activities that create value for both parties, and raise the relationship from pure transactional, to a more long term strategic footing.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree level preferable, Education to A level or International Equivalent
Experience in the Food Service market place desirable but not essential
Knowledge and understanding of all areas in the catering market, including foodservice trends
Commercially aware and strong business acumen
Prove ability to develop customer relationships, self-starter
IT literate in WORD, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
E-commerce experience desirable
Strong listening, probing and selling skills
Have the confidence to handle and overcome objections
The ability to identify ongoing customer needs, and associate a product benefit back to that need
Good organisational and diary management skills
Ability to think and communicate in a clear structured way
The ability to multitask and plan ahead
The ability to leverage Wholesale Partners relationships for short or long term benefit, in conjunction with UFS distributive team


Additional Info

Must live on area patch or directly near boarder- (Louth, Down , Antirm, Armagh and Monaghan)
Occasional national travel and overnights required
Full manual driving licence required
An ambassador of Unilever Food Solutions at all times displaying the company in a positive manner


Interviews will be commencing in Northern Ireland at the end of November
