Currently they are looking for an Accounts Support Specialist to join their ever expanding team to help manage increasing work load. Your new office will be based in Exmouth, in the most stunning area of Devon with coasts galore and a truly excellent work life balance.

About the job:
Your new job will be within the Tax and Accounting department where my client is a leading provider of technology and information solutions. They provide integrated tax compliance software and services to accounting, tax and corporate finance professionals in accounting firms, corporations, law firms and government. Your new job will be to provide 3rd line support of a high standard to the team which will entail customer support as well as technical assistance. As an adaptable technician, you will be able to pick up their software DIGITA quickly and be able to provide support to the IT team and quickly identify causes and solve problems within acceptable time standards.

During your day to day role, you will concisely and accurately document support request information, paying close attention to the problem description, come up with a resolution and follow up with action to ensure the best customer service for the client. Customer queries in relation to installation, functionality and performance of supported products such as DIGITA and alike will be either verbally by telephone or in writing by email or letter.

About the right candidate:

Naturally tech savvy, you will be the sort of candidate who seeks out solutions for hard to solve problems, uses their own initiative to maintain up to date product knowledge and will happily acquire further knowledge of relevant supported products to ensure that you always have continued provision of quality guidance to customers. You will be a team player who can work on their own initiative and can be approachable for team members when offering guidance.

Due to the software and programs that you will be using, we are looking for IT specialists, Tech Gurus, IT Support Officers or previous accounts technicians who moved into customer service roles who will be able to easily use and apply their knowledge to the specialist accounting software. It will be essential that when a customer calls or emails, you are able to delve into using the software and figure out where a bug may be, or where they have input incorrect information with the endeavour to fix the issue and make sure that their program or system is working well for them.

As a result, my client is looking for a candidate who educated to a degree level or with a strong educational background within finance or business and somebody with an AAT or equivalent qualification. Excellent software skills would be essential as well as a strong accounts background whether that is in industry or in practice.
