A fantastic opportunity has become available at American Express for a full time Business Sales Executive who is a highly motivated individual and has the ability to flourish in a results driven environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for self driven, results -oriented individuals who have an understanding of and maybe a previous B2B sales experience and are looking for a new challenge.

The mid market segment remains a strong opportunity for outstanding growth, and as such we require Sales Executives to share in our continued success by joining our highly successful Central Acquisition Team. This is a telephone based, highly rewarded sales role, with a competitive base salary and an uncapped incentive scheme.

Key responsibilities

* Creating new business opportunities via effective targeted calls through self - generation as well as cold calling
* Building and managing your own pipeline, targeting UK companies with revenues between £2 million to £19 million.
* Having the commercial flair and financial acumen to understand the market and identify potential new clients is preferred. Typically owners of businesses or Head of Finance/CFO
* Identifying key Decision Makers and articulating the benefits of the Corporate Expense Management solution using strong consultative and negotiation skills.
* Effective time management to work productively and effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Essential qualities
* Highly motivated individual, self-starter able to work on your own or as part of a team
* Strong administration skills& ability to work in a results-driven, high-activity environment
