Department
Engineering Fleet Control is the area responsible for the administration of the whole Engineering Fleet including pool vehicles / vans / site vehicles / Certification vehicles, whilst they are in service. The Department also ensures that vehicles Awaiting Disposal are dealt with correctly, these are generally either designated as End of Life, Kit Of Parts, Rework for Sale or for re-use internally

Key Responsibilities
*The preparation of vehicles for End of Life disposal to all relevant H&S & Environmental standards & guidelines
*Support Fleet Engineers & Manager with part removal / collections / deliveries
*Support the loading of vehicle transporters
*Removal of vehicle components for re-use / recycling or sale
*Support onsite vehicle collection with FLT & trailer
*Carry out minor repairs to Fleet Vehicles
*Identification & removal of Instrumentation from Test Vehicles as required
*Ensure secure destruction of sensitive parts / number plates
*Maintain accurate records of all vehicles within the process
Skills, experience and qualifications required
*Computer literacy with an excellent working knowledge of MS applications (interview will include Excel Test)
*Knowledge of vehicle technology
*Knowledge of vehicle workshop processes & applicable H&S standards
*Ability to work effectively in a team and "face off" directly to internal & external customers
*Good verbal communications
*Flexible approach to working requirements & hours
*Drive and motivation to achieve goals
*Ability to control, manage & prioritise multiple work requests

Desirable
*FLT licence / experience would be beneficial
*Full UK driving licence
*C&G (or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance discipline or similar
*Trailer towing experience
