Manpower are delighted to be working with the leading provider to the Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Rail and Power sectors.

Our client is currently on the look out for an experienced Street works Administrator on a temporary ongoing contract.

Purpose of the Role

To facilitate and manage all aspects of street works including opening and closing new notices, liaising with local highway authorities for early starts and extensions. To communicate effectively and efficiently with other members of the project team in prioritising workloads to ensure noticing timescales are met. To administrate registration details and manage any penalties or over runs.

About the Exciting Opportunity

From day one, you will be reporting to the Street works Manager.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to;

*Manage all aspects of street works noticing.

*Open and close proposed and in progress notices.

*Serve street works registration details timely and to the code of practice.

*Submit applications for new notices, traffic light applications and foot way / road closures as required.

*Liaise with client street works bureau and ensure regular and accurate flow of information is maintained.

*To attend and contribute towards planning and programming meetings on a weekly basis.

*To communicate effectively with site personnel and ensure that they are updated with notice closure dates.

*To report as required on all aspects of street works performance.

About the Candidate

You are required to have experience of street works noticing administration and basic knowledge of utility works regulatory requirements.

The below are also a huge advantage;

* Prioritising works effectively.
* Experience of demonstrating working to tight timescales effectively.
* Experience of following and amending procedures for the purpose of service delivery.
* Microsoft Word Proficient/ Computer Literate

Salary and Working Hours

The Salary currently stands at £20,000 (£9.05 Per Hour).

You will be required to work 42.5 hours per week on either the below shifts;

08:00 to 17:30 ( 1 hour lunch break)
08:00 to 17:00 ( 30 min lunch break)
