Company Secretarial Assistant for our client Akzonobel, a leading global Paint and Coatings Company and a major producer of speciality chemicals, with leading market positions and brands in countries around the world. They operate in a number of important market segments ranging from buildings and infrastructure to transport, industrial and consumer goods.

As a Company Secretarial Assistant you will support the Company Secretary in providing a first class, in-house company secretarial service to all the UK group companies, delivering administrative excellence and relevant advice on UK company law.

You will manage the statutory database of company information (Blueprint OneWorld) for 60+ companies and update / maintain the PSC Register, Register of Directors Residential Addresses and Conflicts of Interest. You will also prepare draft board resolutions and assist with arranging the execution of legal documents.

Additionally you will assist with the preparation of board packs and setting up of board meetings. You will also file documents with registrars of companies to comply with statutory requirements e.g. annual statement, changes of directors. You will review, monitor, complete and file statutory accounts for all UK group companies within specific timescales.

To be suitable for this position you will have a degree level of education (or equivalent) and have 1 - 2 years PQE or relevant experience in the company secretarial field. You will be able to hit the ground running and be strong in company administration.
