We are looking for Complaint handlers in Chatham at £9.64 per hour working Monday - Friday on a rotating shift pattern between 8am - 6pm, for more information please read below.

This role is on a TEMPORARY contract of 12 months, and will be looking for a quick start on the 5th of December, and Candidates must be available for Tuesday 29th of November.

Core duties and responsibilities
-Gathering information that will allow you to efficiently resolve and respond to complaints
-Prioritising caseloads.
-Speaking to complainants, ensuring the correct security questions are completed or signed written authority is in place prior to discussing any details of a case in accordance with our Data Protections Procedures.
-Discussing ongoing escalated cases with the complainant via the telephone where they remain dissatisfied ensuring all points raised are covered and effectively resolve the case.
-Providing detailed written responses to complaints in accordance with our complaints procedure, based on the information obtained, ensuring all the points raised have been covered.
-Ensuring that the appropriate management databases are noted and kept up to date with progress made on a daily basis
-Ensuring any significant complaints trends are brought to the attention of the Manager
-Ensuring the relevant clients or other departments are copied in on responses where required
-Ensuring compliance with all current and future legislation as detailed in company training manuals and all internal company policies and procedures
-Filing and other general administrative tasks

What we need from you?
*Computer literate
*You must be organised and able to manage your own workload
*Work well on your own initiative as well as in a team
*Excellent attention to detail
*Telephony experience either in a call centre or previous telephony based role desired
*Ability to work to overall department objectives
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Adaptable and receptive to business change

*Complaint handling experience
*Financial service experience
*Customer service experience
