An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technician responsible for:

1.Quality support to Manufacturing and Customers and Suppliers

2.Containment and communication of reported quality problems and concerns from our customers, internal processes and suppliers

3.The issue and maintenance of plant quality standards and systems (this includes challenge audits, capability studies and calibration).

Primary Requirements;

The post holders will be able to:
Assess quality concerns, ensuring robust speedy containment and concern cut off to the customer.
Ensure plant quality standards are maintained and satisfy internal requirements and that of both the customer and TS16949.
Conduct quality inspections, analysis and audits of the manufacturing processes and products to ensure compliance to procedures and standards.
Support improvement initiatives such as QSES and Kaizen.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience;

The ideal candidate will also;

Be qualified to ONC level in appropriate discipline or Supervisory Certificate.
Have experience within a high volume automotive manufacturing environment.
Have experience in the use of measurement equipment
Be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
Be proactive, forward thinking with a flexible attitude to work.
