Manpower is pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our most valued clients, a global chemical manufacturing business based in Grimsby.
The company, who have factories across 5 different countries are longstanding market leaders in the manufacturing of titanium dioxide products. With strong growth and development over the years, they are now looking to bring in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead them in the implementation of a long term strategic plan to further increase capacity, optimize and increase efficiencies at their Top Tier COMAH site in Grimsby.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will work closely with other teams to increase efficiency and output through a series of systematic identification and rectification projects. The role will be Monday to Friday day shifts, your core challenges would be:-

-Providing technical input into inspection findings to ensure continued fitness for service of static and rotating equipment
-Ensuring timely asset replacements, through either capital or revenue and ensuring said replacements cause no disruption to the plant
-Working alongside a large team of Plant Reliability Engineers on projects to further improve plant reliability by systematically identifying and rectifying any equipment or processes which are found to be poorly performing
-Ensuring you demonstrate a high standard of occupational and process safety activities and further ensuring maintenance activities within your area of responsibility are conducted to the correct site, national and international standards

Due to the emphasis placed on employee development by the client, they will facilitate your success and career path by investing in your training and development. To be considered for this brilliant opportunity, you will have a strong desire to develop and have experience in the following:

-A Mechanical Engineering Degree, ideally to chartered status
-Excellent knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, preferably NEBOSH Certificate qualified
-Experience of delivering a high standard of maintenance engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment
